This is a car walk - no bus, to start at the Boat Inn, Aboyne at 9.30, Saturday 3rd Jan.
The walk goes over the River Dee, past Birsemore Loch, along the minor road to take to a forestry track at NO545963 which is followed to the summit of Carnferg. The return heads NW to meet the Fungle going north and back to Aboyne.
