Walk from Strathdon (Culfork) to Gairnside via Mona Gowan. Walk goes to Mona Gowan, west to Cairnagour Hill, then descending to Morven Lodge (a substantial ruin). From Morven Lodge to Lary (pickup for the smaller coach), otherwise continue on the north side of the Gairn to Dalfad crossing a footbridge to the A939 and pickup, Pub stop afterwards in Ballater.
