Bus leaves corner of Midstocket Road and Gordondale Road at 7am
Bus walk and picnic.
Start at car park by A93 NO145806 (Sean Spital Bridge). Landie track, then path to (former?) ski club hut, thence about 400m SE to Carn an Tuirc. From there about 1km NE to pick up landie track above Loch Kander, descend to Loch Callater , thence to Auchallater where bus will be waiting. Distance 14km (8 1/2 miles) with ascent 500m. Summer picnic to follow at Ballater Golf Club.
