Hill walking is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in Stocket walks should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
More experienced Club Members may be prepared to have novice and less experienced members accompany them on the hill as a group. This is undertaken in an environment of equality and freedom within the Club and such Members are not acting as leaders. They are not generally qualified to act as "leaders" or "instructors" and are simply sharing the benefit of their greater experience.
Participants in Stocket walks should be aware of and accept the risks involved in hill walking.
All walkers remain responsible for themselves and their own actions.
The Club does not take responsibility for the safety of participants.
